Dry Needling

A specialized treatment that can decrease pain, reduce stiffness, and improve muscle performance. A fine, flexible, and sterile needle is used to release shortened bands of muscle tissues, known as trigger points.

How does it work?

Needle insertion causes a twitch response, which increases blood flow, decreases muscle banding, and restores the normal length-tension relationship.

Will it take away my pain permanently?

Dry needling allows muscles to reset and return to optimal state, however, pain will return if you do not fix the underlying muscle imbalances. It is important to follow up needling with corrective stretches/exercises.

What is Physical Therapy?

Physical therapy, or physical rehabilitation, uses a regimen of treatments and exercises to help restore and repair a physical injury or disability.

The goal of rehabilitation is to restore one to good health or useful life, through therapy and education. Rehabilitation is designed to return patients to leading active, independent lives.

There are many types of rehabilitation therapies. As a whole, physical medicine and rehabilitation aim to enhance and restore the functional ability of people with physical impairments or disabilities.

Treatment & Therapy

"Our therapists use hands-on techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote healing. They offer a customized exercise program to improve strength, flexibility, and balance, techniques to improve posture and coordination, massage, cupping, and dry needling to decrease muscle tension and facilitate muscle activation, and instruction on proper body mechanics and self-care to enhance recovery and prevent future injury. Unlike massive PT clinics that see too many patients at once, our physical therapists spend one-on-one time with our patients.

Whether you are just starting your recovery after an injury, dealing with chronic pain, navigating the discomforts of aging, or simply aiming to regain strength and vitality in both mind and body, we are here to support you every step of the way!"
